Council is responsible for ensuring that all owner/ occupiers of private land fulfil their obligations under the Noxious Weeds Act.

Council is also a member of the Macquarie Valley & Lachlan Valley Weeds Advisory Committees who have an extremely informative website dedicated to the control of weeds. The direct link to Narromine on their site is here.
