Public Notice - Presentation of Financial Reports
as per Section 418 (3) of the Local Government Act.in accordance with Section 418 (3) of the Local Government Act, 1993, Narromine Shire Council advises that the Extra ordinary Council Meeting to be held at 5.30pm on 03/10/09 will include the presentation of the audited Financial Reports and the Auditors Reports for the financial year ending 30/6/2009.

In accordance with Section 420 of the Local Government Act, 1993, any person may make a submission in writing to Council with respect to the Council's Audited Financial Reports or the Auditor's Reports. Submissions close one week after the above public meeting is held.
Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Mayors and Councillors
In accordance with Section 252 and 253 of the Local Government Act, it is necessary for Council to adopt a policy on the Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Mayors and Councillors. Council considered the policy at its meeting on 20th October 2009 and it has been placed on public exhibition for 28 days. Copies of the policy are available from Council's office, on the website, Narromine and Trangie Libraries and the BP Service Station at Tomingley. Any person wishing to make a submission on the policy should forward the submission in writing to Council addressed to the General Manager, by 12 noon on Tuesday 17th November 2009.
