Christmas decorations installed in Narromine, Trangie and Tomingley

The streets of Narromine, Trangie and Tomingley are looking bright and festive, with the installation of Christmas decorations now complete.

The decorations were created by the Narromine Men’s Shed and Trangie Men’s Shed. Narromine Shire Council is expressing a special thank you to Ray, Ivan and Kim from the Narromine Men’s Shed.

“We encourage the community to join into the spirit of Christmas by participating in the Christmas Decoration Competition,” said Jane Redden, Narromine Shire Council’s General Manager.

“Residents can enter by decorating their home, shop front or farm gate and uploading a photo of their decorations on our website: http://narromineregion.com.au/competitions. Up to $1000 in prizes is available to win,” said Mrs Redden.

“The Christmas decorations will complement our current Shop Local campaign and encourage both locals and visitors to get into the festive spirit.”

“The decorations and Shop Local campaign meet our action to provide a vibrant and diverse community that has a strong sense of belonging and wellbeing, as outlined in the Community Strategic Plan.”
