Information forum for the Narromine Levee Bank Augmentation

Council will be having an information forum for the Narromine Levee Bank Augmentation on Wednesday 27 June 2018 at the Narromine USMC, commencing 6pm.

The information forum will include a presentation on the proposed levee bank along with a Q&A session for guests.

Narromine Shire Council’s General Manager, Jane Redden said “this project is of the highest importance for the Narromine community and feedback on the proposed works is highly valuable”

“The information forum will give the community an overview of the proposed levee and its impacts” she said.

Individual landholders, directly impacted by the proposed levee, have received a letter giving them the opportunity to discuss potential impacts with the relevant consultants, Council officers and State Government representatives at a separate meeting.

If you have not received a letter in the mail but would like to know more about the levee bank augmentation you are encouraged to attend the information session on Wednesday 27 June.

Following the information forum, there will be a period in which the community will be invited to make a written submission to be considered by Council.
