McGrath Foundation to benefit from Pink Pigeon Festival of Events

The Pink Pigeon Committee, with Council’s support has finalised the list of events for the McGrath Foundation annual fundraiser held in Narromine and Trangie.

From pink sheep to pink pigeons, a golf tournament and twilight bowls the community is encouraged to come together and support the breast cancer foundation.

Event organiser, Shane Dalton said “We are excited to get back into it again and have already sourced top quality sheep for the sheep sale being held on Monday 10 December”

“Businesses can be involved by sponsoring the event or by participating in the 3-man Ambrose Golf Tournament and Calcutta event on Sunday 9 December”

Narromine Shire Council’s General Manager, Jane Redden said “Council is pleased to be involved in the event by providing event support through organisation, promotion and advertising”

“The festival of events is a great way for the community to come together, enjoy a range of activities and support the McGrath Foundation to ensure breast cancer nurses are available in Central West NSW” she said.
