Residents of the Narromine Shire will soon receive the third Food and Garden Organics (FOGO) bin along with information packs in anticipation of the Domestic Waste Services expansion to commence in July 2018.
Council resolved in August 2017 to implement a three bin service in Narromine, Tomingley and Trangie.
Narromine Shire Council’s General Manager, Jane Redden said “each delivered bin will receive an information pack that will provide details specific to the service provided.”
“In addition to the current waste collection service, residents in Narromine and Trangie will receive the Food and Gardens Organics bin, whereas residents
in Tomingley will be receiving a recycling service and the Food and Gardens Organics bin.”
“The Food and Gardens Organics bin will be collected weekly and is a great opportunity for residents to further reduce waste being put into landfill” she said
Council is working with NetWaste to ensure that the transition to the new service is as smooth as possible for residents with additional information and fact sheets available from here.
