Section 94A Developer Contributions

Section 94A developer contributions are payments made by persons undertaking development that will or is likely to require the provision of, or increase in the demand for public amenities or services. The monies levied contribute towards the provision, extension, augmentation or improvement of services or amenities that are likely to be required as a consequence of development. Section 94A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act is the section of legislation that enables Council’s to levy developer contributions.
The Narromine Shire contribution plan applies to residential, commercial and industrial development with a value of over $100,000.
