It all begins with creativity and individuality. Creativity is like a muscle. The more you exercise it, the more it grows. Individuality is your own unique stamp on your creative process.
Kate Griffiths is a Creative Director and Stylist based here in the Central West. She completed her Bachelor of Design specialising in Creative Direction and Styling at Whitehouse Institute of Design Sydney. She has worked in various design and retail roles over the years.
Kate first started out by working backstage at fashion shows for David Jones, Myer, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, DVF and many more. She then went on to work in marketing and public relations before taking on her role of Visual Merchandising Specialist for JAG at APG & Co.
Kate has since moved back to the Central West and opened her own boutique shop in Dubbo called Lazy Sunday Lifestyle. Kate’s theory behind creating a successful retail space is about building a brand and having the balance between having your store visually appealing and how you can create the best possible customer experience to maximise sales and set your brand apart from the competition.
