POSITION VACANT - CASUAL LABOURER
Narromine Shire Council is seeking a casual labourer for our water and sewer team for an immediate start.
This position pays $26.91/hour including casual loading.
Please provide a resume of your previous work and qualifications including any current licences and other qualifications you hold such as chainsaw, confined spaces, forklift etc. Please also provide a cover letter outlining your experience that is relevant to the role.

Director Finance and Corporate Strategy
Narromine Shire Council is seeking a highly motivated Director Finance and Corporate Strategy. Suitably qualified and experienced people who would like to live and work in a desirable rural setting are encouraged to apply.
The Director will lead a team of 9 through 3 Managers and is responsible for the financial, information technology, fit for the future and integrated planning and reporting functions of Council.
Narromine Shire is located in the heart of the Macquarie Irrigation Valley, only 20 minutes to the rapidly growing regional centre of Dubbo. It is a rich agricultural area with moderate climate and boasts excellent medical and educational facilities. It also offers a wide range of sporting and recreational facilities, and is experiencing considerable growth in both business and industry.
Council is offering an attractive negotiable remuneration package up to $160K including salary, superannuation, vehicle, FBT and relocation assistance to suit the right candidate.

Manager Roads 2017
Narromine Shire Council is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join the Infrastructure Engineering Services Department in the position of Manager Roads.
The Objective of this position is to contribute to the overall effectiveness of Council by the implementation of Council’s annual and long term works program relating to roads, bridges and traffic infrastructure.
The position will manage the works and services of Council’s operations, encompassing civil works for rural and urban maintenance and construction programs within the Infrastructure and Engineering Services Department.
Essential Criteria includes a Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent, demonstrated experience in the management of road infrastructure network and supervision and management of staff. An attractive salary package including super and allowances of $106 - 120k is offered. A leaseback motor vehicle and relocation assistance is available.
