Council Meetings

Council generally meets on the second Wednesday of the month. Meetings are usually* held at the Council Chambers, commencing at 5.30pm. There is no meeting in January. Extraordinary meetings are called when necessary.

Council must conduct its meeting in accordance with its Code of Meeting Practice.

*In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the NSW Government has amended the Local Government Act to allow for Council Meetings to be held remotely rather than by physical presence in the Council Chambers.

From April, and for a period of 6 months (subject to review), Council Meetings will be held virtually via audio visual link.

The public will be able to view the live stream of each meeting by following the link provided in the meeting date table below.

Audio recordings of the meeting will continue to uploaded to the website.

Speaking At Public Forum

Public Forum* will be held prior to the Council Meeting, commencing at 5pm. Members of the community are able to speak on items in the Business Paper which are up for a decision. Please read pages 16 + 17 of Council's Code of Meeting Practice, and complete the application form below which must be submitted to Council by 12pm on the day prior to the Council Meeting. If no applications are received, Public Forum will not be held.

*Physical attendance at Public forum is now suspended. If you would like to address Council, please complete the application form and you will be contacted to discuss options.
