• Contributions Plan 7.11 and 7.12

  NARROMINE SHIRE COUNCIL SECTION 7.12 CONTRIBUTIONS PLAN 2026

  Council has resolved to adopt the Narromine Shire Council Section 7.12 Contributions Plan 2026.  

  Section 7.12 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 allows Council to impose, as a condition of development consent, a requirement that the applicant pay a levy of the percentage of the proposed cost of carrying out the development.  This assists Council in providing public facilities and amenities which are required to maintain and enhance amenity and service delivery within the area.

  NARROMINE SHIRE COUNCIL SECTION 7.11 CONTRIBUTIONS PLAN 2026 – HEAVY VEHICLES

  Council has resolved to adopt the Narromine Shire Council Section 7.11 Contributions Plan 2026 – Heavy Vehicles.

  The Plan seeks contributions toward the additional costs of road maintenance associated with heavy vehicle generating developments.

  The payment of contributions in accordance with the Plan will be required as a condition of consent for all future development applications that involve the generation of frequent heavy vehicle movements.

• Draft Economic Development Strategy 2026-2030

  Council at its Ordinary Meeting held 24 June 2026 resolved to place the Draft Narromine Shire Economic Development Strategy 2026-2024 on public exhibition for 60 days. 

  Submissions will close Monday 20 August 2026.
