Description of Development
The subdivision proposal includes the following components:
- The creation of twenty nine (29) General Industrial (Torrens title) allotments.
- The creation of two (2) Rural (Torrens Title) allotments.
- The creation of one (1) road widening allotment.
- The creation of one (1) drainage reserve allotment.
- The creation of one (1) for stormwater management allotment.
- The creation of two (2) lots suited to accommodate servicing infrastructure; and,
- Subdivision works, including road construction and servicing connection.
The development is Integrated Development under Clause 4.46 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and the following additional approvals are required:
The Application requires the approval of NSW Rural Fire Service – s100B Rural Fires Act 1997 – Bushfire Safety Authority.

Any person may lodge a written submission during the exhibition period concerning the Development Application. If the submission is an objection, the grounds of the objection must be specified in the submission.

Enlargement of an existing dam used for irrigation purposes at the Enza Zaden Research Facility. The enlargement of the dam shall allow for additional water storage for water used on the property to irrigate the relevant crops and the like. A proposed 360,000L water tank is also proposed.

PLANNING PROPOSAL – LEP AMENDMENT – 36 JONES CIRCUIT NARROMINE (PP-2025-1786) – REZONE AND AMEND MIN LOT SIZE
In accordance with the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979, Council advises that it is currently undertaking a Planning Proposal to amend the Narromine Local Environmental Plan 2011 (LEP) which seeks to rezone land and amend the lot size in relation to Lot 1 DP 249020, and part Lots 227 & 228 DP 755131, 36 Jones Circuit, Narromine.
The Planning Proposal is on public exhibition from 2 March 2026 to 27 March 2026. During this time the proposal may be inspected at the Narromine Shire Council Office at 124 Dandaloo Street, Narromine during normal office hours or on Councils website at www.narromine.nsw.gov.au.
