Trangie Waste Management Facility Transition Process

TRANGIE WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITY (Landfill) is Transitioning to a Transfer Station

Narromine Shire Council is investing in the future of waste management for our community. With funding support from the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA), the existing Trangie Landfill will be upgraded to a modern transfer station. This project is part of a broader effort across NSW to reduce the number of active landfill sites, improve environmental outcomes and keep our region clean and safe for future generations.

During this time, the site will remain open, and Council will keep residents informed of progress.
