Annual Flying Event Ausfly a huge success

Narromine Shire Council hosted, the annual fly-in event, Ausfly from Thursday 17 October to Saturday 19 October 2019 at Narromine Aerodrome.

The event has been dubbed as a huge success from all involved including the organising committee and attendees at the event.

Narromine Shire Council’s General Manager, Jane Redden said “It is great to see so much support from the Aviation industry and the community for the local event”

“The community event on Saturday was a great success, despite the weather, with over 700 people attending, raising over $1,100 for VRA”

“There was something for everyone from aviation enthusiasts to the general community including joy flights, jumping castle, an airshow and petting zoo”

Council would like to thank both SAAA and AOPA for organising the event; Narromine Gliding Club and Narromine Aeroclub for catering the event; the Narromine Aviation Museum for allowing free admission into the museum; VRA for parking the guests and also major local premium sponsor Inland Petroleum for supplying the fuel for the air display.

Without the support from sponsors such as Ace Aviation, Australian Aviation, Inland Petroleum, QBE Insurance, The Screaming Diamonds, Swish Projects, Civil Aviation Safety Authority, Carbon Back Foundation and Cirrus Aircraft the event would not have been such a success.
