Narromine Shire Council is inviting community organisations and ‘not for profit’ groups to apply for financial assistance and donations for the 2020/2021 financial year.
Applications will be considered for capital projects, operating expenses, annual donations and rates assistance for up to $5,000.
Narromine Shire Council’s General Manager Jane Redden said “Due to the number of requests from community groups and organisations throughout the year, Council resolved to consider requests for donations, sponsorships and the waiver of Council fees and charges annually through an application process”
“Last year Council supported 7 groups totalling over $15,000 in support for the financial year”
“Successful groups from 2019/2020 included Mudyigalang, Narromine Rescue Squad, Rotary Club of Narromine, Narromine CWA, Trangie CWA, Narromine Pony Club, Deadly Dragonfliez Netball Club and Trangie Amateur Swimming Club” she continued.
“Councillors will consider the applications at the September meeting,” she said.
Applications close Friday 28th August 2020 and must be completed in full and include the relevant attachments as requested. Applications can be found on the link below or can be obtained from Council’s Customer Service Building.
Applications can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, hand-delivered to Council at 124 Dandaloo Street, Narromine or posted to the General Manager, Narromine Shire Council, PO Box 115, Narromine NSW 2821.
