Narromine Region to Benefit from over $750,000 in Funding

Narromine, Trangie and Tomingley are set to benefit from over $750,000 in funding through the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund Program.

Last week, Member for Dubbo electorate Dugald Saunders announced that a number of community facilities in the Region will benefit from the funding program including;

Narromine Shire Council’s General Manager, Jane Redden said “the much needed funding will assist in fast tracking a number of projects across the Region which will benefit a number of members of the community including families, youth and sporting groups”

“Without the funding from the NSW Government Council would be unable to deliver the projects” she said.

Narromine Shire Council’s Mayor, Craig Davies said “it is important that our public amenities continue to be upgraded to ensure we are able to attract more people to our Region”.

“The upgrades are great for our visitors and community members alike” he said.
