Media Release - Council's community grant program is now open

Narromine Shire Council is inviting all community organisations and ‘not for profit’ groups to apply for financial assistance and donations for the 2022/2023 financial year.

Applications will be considered for capital projects, operating expenses, annual donations and rates assistance for up to $5,000.

Narromine Shire Council’s General Manager Jane Redden said, “Council is committed to supporting our community through financial support for groups and organisations who undertake wonderful, voluntary work for the good of our community.”

In 2021/22 Council supported local groups including Narromine Men’s Shed, Narromine Rescue Squad, Rotary Club of Narromine, Narromine Hospital Auxiliary, Trangie CWA, Orana Beekeepers Inc, Narromine Community Skills, Narromine Soccer Club, Narromine Little Athletics and Netball Club.

The application process is very straightforward and all of the relevant information can be found by visiting Council’s website at www.narromine.nsw.gov.au/community/grants or call into Council’s Customer Service and Payments Centre to pick up a copy.

Applications for funding will close on Friday 26 August 2022 and must be completed in full and include the relevant attachments as requested, added Mrs Redden.

Applications can be emailed to mail@narromine.nsw.gov.au, hand-delivered to Council at 118 Dandaloo Street, Narromine or posted to the General Manager, Narromine Shire Council, PO Box 115, Narromine NSW 2821.
