New Learn to Swim Pool and Splash Park for Narromine Region

Narromine Region’s newly upgraded Learn to Swim Pool and Splash Park will officially open in time for the summer.

In 2018, Council was announced as the successful recipient of both Stronger Country Communities grant Round 2 for $ 900 000 and a ClubGrants grant for $300 000. Additional funding was committed to the project by Council. The project commenced in August 2019 and the works are now complete.

“Council would like to thank the NSW Government for their support through Liquor and Gaming NSW and the Regional Growth Fund” said Narromine Shire Council’s General Manager, Jane Redden.

“Part of our Community Strategic Plan is to provide facilities that encourage healthy lifestyles and greater use by the community,” she said.

“We are confident that the new Learn to Swim Pool and Splash Park will offer fun, accessible and unique experiences for our residents” said Mrs Redden.

The Learn to Swim Pool and Splash Park will open to the public on Saturday, 14 December 2019 at 10:00 am.
