New Residents Welcomed to the Narromine Region

New Residents Welcomed to the Narromine Region

Narromine Shire Council will welcome new residents at the popular Narromine Welcome Evening to be held on Thursday 11 February at the Narromine Aero Club from 6.00 pm.

Mayor of Narromine Shire Council Councillor Craig Davies said that Council has been hosting this event for over five years and is pleased to continue the tradition of welcoming new residents.

The evening is an informal gathering to extend a warm welcome to new residents, with information available to assist settling into the community and the wider region.

Clr Davies encourages all newcomers to the Narromine region to take advantage of this opportunity to familiarise themselves with the region and to meet friends.

‘I am always thrilled to meet our new residents who have chosen to call this wonderful part of regional NSW their home. Our region is an exceptional place to live, work and raise a family and we want to welcome everyone and introduce them to the countless aspects of life to be enjoyed here’, he said.

I encourage any interested people to come along to the New Residents night and learn about our facilities, services, clubs and groups that are available in the Narromine region.

Light refreshments and finger food will be provided from 6.00 pm until 7.00 pm.

New residents wishing to attend should RSVP to Alison Attwater on aattwater@narromine.nsw.gov.au or call 6889 9999 by 8 February 2021.
